Who this covers

This policy covers mymaisonpointe.com and any Maison Pointe pages linked from it. We’re a small, UK-based nail accessory business. If you have questions about anything here, contact us at hello@mymaisonpointe.com.

What we collect, and why

• Name and email, if you sign up for updates, register interest in a coming-soon set, or contact us — used to send you what you asked for, and nothing else you haven’t agreed to.
• Order and payment information. Payments are processed directly by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details ourselves. We do keep a record of what was purchased, for order history and stock accuracy.
• Photos and captions you submit, if you share a look with us. These are reviewed before anything is shown publicly, and only shown if approved.
• Referral codes, if you use or share one — used to credit the right person, nothing more.
• Basic local browser storage for things like your bag contents and Nail Wardrobe collection. This lives in your own browser, not a shared account system, unless and until we introduce real customer accounts.

Marketing emails

We only email you about new collections or updates if you’ve explicitly opted in — that’s a separate tickbox from anything else, never bundled into agreeing to this policy. You can unsubscribe at any time; every marketing email will include a way to do that.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, each only for what they need to do their job:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Vercel — website hosting and data storage.
• TikTok — only if you view an embedded TikTok video on our site, in which case TikTok's own privacy policy applies to that interaction, not this one.

We don’t sell your data to anyone, for any reason.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — email hello@mymaisonpointe.com and we’ll sort it out. If you’re in the UK or EU, these are your rights under GDPR; we honour the same standard for everyone regardless of location.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle data changes meaningfully, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. We won’t quietly expand what we do with your data without saying so here first.
